Paula graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa in 1986 and has been practicing in the United Kingdom since 1990. She worked in London for 10 years before relocating to Ilchester, Somerset in 2000 to improve the quality of life for her and her family.
Dentistry is more than just a profession to Paula – it is her passion. From the outset she has worked hard to transform her practice in Ilchester into a leading dental practice (both general and cosmetic) in the United Kingdom. She invests many hours of her time each year in attending the world’s leading postgraduate courses both here and abroad. By doing this she has been able to bring dentistry at its best and beautiful smiles to the West Country.
Paula has achieved the Masters Level from the Aesthetic Advantage Continuum of New York – one of less than 2 % of dentists in the whole of the UK to have achieved this. This elite and prestigious program is respected throughout the cosmetic dentistry field in the United States, United Kingdom, and abroad.
Besides enhancing smiles she has a keen interest in implants, periodontics (gum therapy), occlusion (the way we bite), TMJ (jaw joint) therapies and headaches, standard and invisible braces (for adults and children) and ‘early orthodontics’ (orthopaedics) for children. Not all cosmetic dentists are the same. When it comes to a feature that you wear 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, why entrust it to anyone but one of the best?
Paula is a member of the British Dental Association, British Academy of Cosmetic Dentists (www.bacd.com) and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists (www.aacd.com), British Society of Occlusal studies. She is also closely connected to the clinical foundation of orthopaedics and orthodontics of the united Kingdom (www.cfoo.co.uk)
Paula is married to James and has two lovely daughters Kate and Kristin.
